Scripture: “Be still, and know that I am God!” Psalm 46:10 (NLT).
Prayer: Father, still my restless soul. Quiet the noise of my thoughts, my busyness, and my fears. Teach me that stillness is not weakness, but trust. In the quiet, remind me of who You are—unchanging, sovereign, and faithful. When I try to take control, help me release it back into Your hands. Thank You that even when I cannot see what You are doing, You are working all things together for good. In Jesus’ name, Amen and thank God.
Reflection (Journal Prompt): Where do I resist stillness because it feels unproductive, and how can I begin to see it as a place of worship?
Application / Coping Skill: Set aside five minutes today to sit in silence before God. No requests, no distractions—just stillness. Whisper: “You are God, and I trust You.”
Closing: I will be still and know that He is God—faithful, sovereign, and in control.
